The widening of Interstate 65, from just north of State Route 840 to State Route 96, should be completed by the end of 2012. Also State Route 840 is scheduled to be completed around the same time. This will connect I-40 west of Nashville to southern Williamson county and Maury county without the traffic backups and bottlenecks of coming from Nashville on I-65.
